About Me

Some spaces make you stop and look. My work is about finding what creates that feeling: the light, the materials, the way a room opens up, and bringing it into photographs and film.

I’m Michael LeBancs, a photographer based in Östersund, Sweden, and available for assignments elsewhere. I photograph homes, interiors and architecture with a natural, considered approach.

In my photography, I look for a balance between the whole space and its smaller details. Wider compositions show how rooms connect, while closer images bring out the grain of wood, the texture of a floor or the meeting of different materials. Windows, sightlines and views help tell the story of the place. My aim is a coherent collection of images that makes a space easy to understand while conveying its atmosphere.

Working across photography and film shapes how I build a visual story. In still images, I work with composition, colour and light. Film introduces movement and rhythm, with the same care for the character of the space.

For estate agents, architects and interior designers, I aim to make the collaboration clear and personal, beginning with your project, what matters most about it and the people you want to reach.
